Actress Eva Mendes, fresh from Cirque Lodge and rehab, has added model to her loaded resume. Two separate global campaigns for fashion designer Calvin Klein is in the works for this stunning Latina beauty.
Eva is known for her acting skills, starring in several films including the hit “Training Day”, “Hitch” with Will Smith, and most recently, “We Own the Night” with Joaquin Phoenix and former Calvin Klein poster boy Mark Wahlberg.

She is reportedly going to be the face for the new fragrance by Calvin Klein. The as-yet-unnamed fragrance will be Eva’s first campaign in that line of work. Tom Murry, President and COO of Calvin Klein, Inc. said, “Eva exudes an effortless and unpretentious sensuality which is perfectly in line with the Calvin Klein DNA.” Calvin Klein announced the actress will also be the new face for the launch of the Seductive Comfort collection of underwear by the company. Her curves and girl-next-door appeal are perfect for the line and its target audience. “Seductive Comfort is our new collection of bras which offer the unique combination of the Calvin Klein aesthetic with a new level of fit, support, and superior comfort. Eva’s universal appeal will enable us to communicate this new launch to our worldwide audience,” Bob Mazzoli, Chief Creative Officer of CK Underwear, said in a statement issued to the press.

Eva has had a great relationship with the brand for quite some time. She has used Calvin Klein outfits for a number of high profile events including this year’s Independent Spirit Awards and last year’s Fashion Rocks, often with Creative Director Francisco Costa. Costa is nominated for the Womenswear Designer of the Year Award at this year’s CFDA Fashion Awards. The two’s friendship and working experience will suit well for the actress’ upcoming Calvin Klein campaigns.

It’s great to see Eva bouncing back with various projects after her rehab stint at Cirque Lodge. Likewise, it’s good to know that this actress has still a positive outlook in life, even branching out to modeling after her success in show business.
